We caught our shuttle bus in the dark early morning at the Hotel and before too long were delivered to Leonardo da Vinci Airport in plenty of time to check our baggage and get boarding passes. Being accustomed to North American airports, we expected to find a nice breakfast restaurant. Things are different there, and not in a good way. Enough said. The 8-hour (gate to gate) flight was a bit late leaving, but arrived at Montreal on time. After 45 minutes in customs lines, we declared $400 over our limit, but were let go because of Judie's highly organized list which impressed the officer. Our good friends Lyle & Bev were awaiting our arrival and we had a late lunch in Pointe Claire before driving home. Sweet Home.
This is the last MartinTravels Blog entry until another exciting trip happens - but I think you should wait until we let you know to check in.
Thank you all for following along. We had a great trip and have many awesome memories - shared as you have read, and yet to share, when we see you next.
